Abstract
This Regulation prescribes: Waste Catalogue; Q List - Waste Categories; Y List - List of categories or related types of hazardous waste according to their nature or the activity by which they are generated; C List - components of waste that make it hazardous; H List - Characteristics of waste that make it hazardous; D List - Disposal operations; R List - Waste utilization operations; Limit values for the concentration of hazardous components in waste on the basis of which the characteristics of waste are determined; List of parameters for determining the physico-chemical properties of hazardous waste intended for physico-chemical treatment; List of parameters for testing waste for the purposes of thermal treatment; List of parameters for testing waste and testing eluates intended for disposal; types, content and form of waste testing reports and the method and procedure for waste classification. The waste catalogue is a comprehensive list of non-hazardous and hazardous waste, according to which waste is classified into twenty groups depending on the place of origin. The catalogue is contained in Annex 1 of this text.
