Abstract
This Regulation determines the conditions and methods of collection, transport, storage and treatment of waste used as secondary raw materials or for energy production purposes. Waste used as secondary raw material is waste that can be reused for the reuse of products for the same or another purpose, for recycling, i.e. waste treatment, in order to obtain raw materials for the production of the same or another product (paper and cardboard, metal, glass, plastic, construction and demolition waste, ash and slag from coal combustion from thermal power plants, gypsum and sulfur from flue gas desulfurization, etc.); waste used for energy production is waste that can be reused for reuse for energy use, i.e. using the value of waste through its biodegradation or thermal treatment with the use of energy, electricity and/or heat and electricity (agricultural waste, municipal waste, tires, spent solvents, waste from refineries, biomass, sludge from sludge treatment plants, etc.).
