Abstract
This Regulation establishes the mandatory and specific content of the environmental impact study prepared by legal entities (project developers) to whom the preparation, content and scope of the study has been ordered by the decision referred to in article 3 of this text.
The preparation of a study in accordance with this Regulation is mandatory for projects for which the decision on the preliminary environmental impact assessment determines: a) the content and scope of the study for projects for which an environmental impact assessment is mandatory in accordance with the regulation referred to in article 68, paragraph (1) of the Federal Law on environmental protection.
The environmental impact study shall be accompanied by a signed Statement on the accuracy, truthfulness and completeness of the data contained in the study, which the legal representative of the investor shall submit to the competent authority (municipality or notary) under moral, material and criminal liability. The Statement form is contained in Annex I of this text. The verification of compliance with the prescribed procedures regarding the environmental impact study shall be carried out by the person authorized to conduct the study approval procedure in the Federal Ministry, based on the checklist contained in Annex II.
