Regulation on the management of waste containing asbestos.

This Regulation prescribes the method of packaging, criteria, conditions and method of final disposal of waste containing asbestos and other specific measures that are all aimed at preventing the spread of asbestos fibres and deriving dust into the environment. The provisions of this Regulation apply to waste containing asbestos and which is prescribed in the List of Asbestos Waste, which is set out in the Annex of this text. The aim of this Regulation is to determine measures to prevent and reduce environmental pollution by waste containing asbestos in order to preserve human health and environment in general.
