Regulation on minimum technical and technological conditions for the production of tobacco products.

This Regulation sets out the conditions that must be met by facilities or plants engaged in the production and processing of tobacco products, with regard to the space, equipment and professional staff. This text also prescribes the content, form and manner of keeping the register of tobacco product manufacturers. The text is divided in five Chapters, as follows: I. General provisions; II. Technical-technological conditions for performing the activity of tobacco production; III. Keeping the register of tobacco producers; V. Transitional and final provisions.
For the purposes of this text, tobacco production facilities or plants are those facilities with installed equipment in which various types of tobacco deriving products (such as cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, pipe tobacco, smoking tobacco, chewing tobacco and other similar) are produced.
