Regulation on the prohibition of the use of means for capturing or killing wild animal species and methods of transport.

This Regulation establishes a ban on the use of means capable of causing local extinction or seriously endangering the population of wild plant and animal species in terms of collection, capture or killing and in cases where restrictions have been applied for the collection, capture or killing of species, the use of means for capture or killing, as well as any form of capture or killing and the method of transport. This text transposes the provisions of Council Directive 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora, as last amended by Council Directive 2013/17/EU of 13 May 2013 adapting certain Directives in the field of the environment by reason of the accession of the Republic of Croatia.
