Regulation on protection measures, method of determination and maintenance of zones and belts of sanitary protection areas.

This Regulation determines various specific (procedural, technical and sanitary) protection measures and rules aimed to be respected on all areas with water sources (if used as public water supply, or if suitable for water supply) that are used for human consumption.
This Regulation also sets the classification of different types of protected areas, according to their status, as follows: strictly protected area; restricted area; and wide protection zone.
