Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the conditions, method and procedure for the management of waste oils. The provisions of this Regulation shall apply to all types of waste oils. The provisions of this Regulation shall not apply to the management of waste oils containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) or polychlorinated terphenyls (PCT), above 30 mg/kg of waste oil, emulsions and oily liquid waste containing other pollutants and water. The aim of this Regulation is to establish a waste oil management system in such a way that, through separate collection and treatment, harmful effects on human health and the environment are prevented or effectively reduced.
