Regulation on waste tire management.

This Regulation prescribes the method and procedure for managing waste tires. The provisions of this Regulation shall apply to waste tires of all sizes and weights, regardless of the time when they were placed on the market as an independent product, an integral part of another product or a set of wheels. The product categories and the list of products belonging to these categories are determined in the lists given in the Annex of this text. The aim of this Regulation is to establish a waste tire management system in such a way that, through separate collection and treatment, the harmful impact on human health and the environment is prevented or reduced.
