Animals (Diseases) (Rabies) Regulations, 1951.

These Regulations introduce measures so as to fight the spreading of rabies.
The Regulations: require owners of animals to notify authorities of the occurrence of the disease and to isolate animals suspected to be affected with rabies ("suspected animals"); require inspectors and other authorities to seize, detain suspected animals and inspect and dispose of suspected animals or carcasses of suspected animals in accordance with these Regulations; require in general the disinfecting of materials that came into contact with suspected animals; and prescribe penalties for offences against these Regulations.
