Animals (Diseases) (Swine Fever) Regulations, 1951.

These Regulations introduce measures so as to fight the spreading of swine fever.
The Regulations, among other things: require owners of animals suspected to be affected with swine fever (“suspected animals”) or veterinary surgeons to notify authorities of the (suspected) occurrence of the disease; require inspectors to declare a place where a disease occurs to be an Infected Place, to investigate the occurrence of the disease and to issue directions to the owner; prohibits the removal of animals, dung, food, litter or utensils used in connection with any swine from an Infected Place; and prohibit the sale of meat of suspected animals.
