Abstract
This Act makes provision for various matters relating to protection of interests of consumer such as the prohibition of unfair trading practices and unfair contract terms, product liability, consumer safety, industry codes and control and administration by the Fair Trading Commission.
The Act defines when a contract is considered unfair and defines false and misleading representations of goods.
