Abstract
An Act to provide for the seizure and impounding of stray livestock. The text of the Act includes the following titles: Establishment of pounds (sect. 3); Management of pounds (sect. 4); Livestock trespassing (sect. 6); Enquiry as to ownership of livestock impounded (sect. 7); Notice to owner of livestock impounded (sect. 8); Notice where owner of livestock not known (sect. 11); Fraudulent impounding (sect. 12); Rescuing livestock impounded (sect. 13); Ill-treating or injuring livestock impounded (sect. 14); Disposal of livestock impounded (sect. 15); Sale of impounded livestock (sect. 15); Regulations (sect. 19); Records kept by pound-keepers (sect. 20); Act not to affect rights of action (sect. 21).
