Abstract
For the purposes of this Act the Minister, on advice of the Chief Agricultural Officer, by Order declare, pests or diseases to be eradicated and their host plants, areas infected with pests and diseases, and areas in which certain crops are not to be planted or grown during certain periods of the year. Alternate host plants may be indicated and inspection periods prescribed. The Chief Agricultural Officer shall notify necessary control measures to owners or occupiers of any farm or plantation on which host plants are susceptible to attack by pests and diseases. Various directions may be given to owners or occupiers and inspection is allowed.
