Abstract
This Act introduces measures so as to fight the spreading of swine fever.
The Act makes provision for the appointment of veterinary practitioners, requires persons having in possession of animals suspected to be affected with swine fever to notify public health inspectors of the (suspected) occurrence of the disease and of decease of animals and to keep animals isolated. Other measures concern the disposal of dung and litter, licences for removal of swine and the disinfecting of vehicles.
