Abstract
This Act aims at taking agricultural census in order to join the world census of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations.
Agricultural censes shall be carried out by census officers appointed by the Director-General of the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics. The information collected shall pertain to the following: land ownership and land tenure; land utilization; crop acreage and production; irrigation and drainage; etc.
