Bangladesh Dairy Development Board Act, 2023 (Act No. 46 of 2023).

This Act provides for establishment of the Bangladesh Dairy Development Board (Board). It makes provisions in respect of the office of the Board, its management and administration, the Board of Directors and its meetings. The Act lays down the functions of the Board which includes planning, development and training for commercial establishment of dairy farms, promoting establishments for production, processing, chilling and manufacturing of milk products, making recommendations to the Government etc. The Board is given the powers for determining, regulating and ensuring the enforcement of the standards of milk and milk products. The Act also provides for a fund of the Board and sums to be deposited therein.
