Bangladesh Food Safety Authority Employees Service Regulations, S.R.O. No. 242-Law/2018.

These Regulations, issued by the Bangladesh Food Safety Authority pursuant to the provisions of the Safe Food Act, 2013, concern the conditions of service of employees of the Bangladesh Food Safety Authority. The Regulations establish the employment regime applicable to the permanent employees of the Bangladesh Food Safety Authority. The Regulations also distinguish disciplinary sanctions and provide procedures for imposing them, including procedural stages relating to allegations, responses by the employee, inquiry and decision-making. Concerning food-safety governance, the Regulations create posts requiring scientific expertise relevant to: food analysis, food science and technology, nutrition, scientific research.
