Bangladesh Reference Institute for Chemical Measurements Act, 2020 (Act No. XV of 2020).

This Act provides for establishment of a reference laboratory in chemical metrology. Section 4 forms the Bangladesh Reference Institute for Chemical Measurements (BRICM) the functions of BRICM are laid down in section 6. The functions include providing measurement service and reference measurement services, proficiency testing and inter-laboratory comparison services, developing chemical measurement methods, and maintaining network with the international organizations in the area of chemical metrology. The provisions related to management and administration of BRICM are laid down.
