Abstract
The Ordinance provides for the institution of the Bangladesh Rural Development Board that shall promote the creation of cooperatives in rural areas and also promote irrigation to develop and improve agriculture, by means of facilities utilizing both surface and ground waters. Furthermore, the Board shall help the cooperative in getting familiar with financial procedures designed to ensure the Members with shares and savings.
