Bangladesh Standard - Specification for Fortified Rice (BDS 1897:2015).

This standard prescribes the requirements, processing, methods of sampling and test for fortified rice. It lays down the general requirements for rice fortification through addition of premix containing essential micronutrients. The classification of rice as per size and shape, processing methods, hygiene requirements, packaging and labelling and the methods of sampling and analysis are described.
