Abstract
This Ordinance provides for the accidental or intentional trespassing of cattle in the streets or in cultivated land where damage could be done to crops or any other product found there. In the case of an absent keeper or owner, any Police Officer may take charge of the straying cattle. Whereas a keeper or owner was negligent or conniving in letting the cattle go straying around, the said keeper or owner shall be fined up to two hundred taka.

Notes
The provisions of this ordinance shall implement the 1871 Cattle Trespass Act.Consolidated version of the Cattle (Prevention of Trespass) Ordinance, 1959 (E.P. Ordinance No. XII of 1959) as last amended by the Bangladesh Laws (Revision And Declaration) Act, 1973 (Act No. VIII of 1973).
