Chittagong Port Authority (Amendment) Act, 1995 (Act No. 19 of 1995).

This Act amends the Chittagong Port Authority Ordinance, 1976.
Amendments shall include: a new definition of “goods” in section 2; the substitution of sub-section (2) of section 3 with a new sub-section defining Chittagong Port limits; the substitution of section 11 with a new section dealing with the removal of vessels and equipment from docks; the substitution of sub-section (2) of section 12 with a new sub-section on responsibilities of the Authority for the loss, destruction or deterioration of goods; the insertion of a new section 19A on powers of the Authority to impose river dues; the insertion of a new section 41A on penalties for pollution; and the insertion of a new section 51A dealing with the transfer of officers on deputation. Minor amendments have also been made to sections 4, 6, 10, 19, 25, 40 and 41.
