Abstract
This Act outlines rules for the supply of energy, licensing of power producers, infrastructure development, system administration, transmission and sale of electricity, and criminal offences relating to its theft.
The Act further provides for the establishment of an Electricity Board and for the appointment of Electric Inspectors.
