Kurigram Agricultural University Act, 2021 (Act No. 20 of 2021).

This Act establishes the Kurigram Agricultural University for the purpose of maintaining harmony and equality with the advanced world in the field of agricultural science and technology, providing advanced teaching in agricultural science and creating opportunities for higher education and research in science, technology and other conventional subjects. The University shall be a statutory body constituted by the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Treasurer and Academic Council members. The Act lays down the powers and responsibilities of the University, Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and Academic Council. It also provides for the Finance Committee, Planning and Development Committee, Selection Committee, Disciplinary Committee and Admission Committee. The various departments, courses to be taught, examination process and related matters have are contained in the Act.
