Mines and Mineral Resources (Control and Development) Act No. 39, 1992.

The Act provides for the control and development of mines and mineral resources. The Government may make rules for regulating the grant of prospecting licences, mining leases or facilities and for the purpose of preserving and developing mineral resources (section 4).
