Pesticides (Amendment) Rules, 2010.

These Rules amend the Pesticide Rules, 1985 (principal Rules). In Rule 2 of the principal Rules, definitions for Active ingredient, Agricultural pesticide, Biopesticide, Inert ingredient, Manufacturer and Public health pesticide are added. Rules 3 and 4 relating to application and registration of pesticides are substituted. Rules 6 and 7 of the principal Rules are also substituted. Further, Rules 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 16, 19, 21, 28, 32, 33, 38, 40 and 41 are amended. In Rule 58 of the principal Rules, clause (e) is added after clause (d). Rules 59 and 60 are substituted.
