Plan of Action to Implement Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030.

This Plan provides the action plan for Bangladesh to implement the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 (SFDRR). It gives a brief introduction to the SFDRR, including the expected outcome, strategic goal, targets and priority areas. To achieve the goal and expected outcome of the SFDRR, the Plan lays down the targets and proposed activities under each of the four priority areas of the SFDRR. These include, establishing and reviewing the national disaster management policy and regulatory framework, defining roles of local level actors, knowledge management, research and training, institutional capacity building, reducing sectoral risks and vulnerabilities, enabling DRR and climate change adaptation integration, risk financing, emergency preparedness, international cooperation and addressing issues relating to women, children and persons with disability.
