Action plan for the implementation of the National Development Program: Bulgaria 2020 in the period 2019-2020.

This Action plan for the implementation of the National Development Program: Bulgaria 2020 for the period from the year 2019 until the year 2020 contains the economic and social situation and prospects for development; state and development of the national economy in the first half of 2018; social dimensions of economic development and determined prospects for development; progress in the implementation of the goals and priorities of the NDP: Bulgaria 2020 for the period from the beginning of the year 2013 until the middle of the year 2018; report on the implementation of measures laid down in the Action Plan for the implementation of the NDP: Bulgaria 2020 for the period 2018-2020; updated list of designated financial resources; mid-term impact assessment of the implementation of the NDP: Bulgaria 2020. Annex 1 contains the matrix with measures for the implementation of the NDP: Bulgaria 2020 in the period 2019-2020; Annex 2 provides the list of indicators for measuring the overall impact of the NDP: Bulgaria 2020.
The Action plan for the implementation of the National Development Program: Bulgaria 2020 in the period 2019-2020 list and updates issues determined by eight main framework objectives (priorities, each with its thematic sub-priorities). These priorities are as follows: Priority 1 "Improving access to and increasing the quality of education and training and the qualitative characteristics of the workforce"; Priority 2 "Reducing poverty and promoting social inclusion"; Priority 3 "Achieving sustainable integrated regional development and using local potential"; Priority 4 "Development of the agricultural sector to ensure food security and to produce products with high added value under sustainable management of natural resources"; Priority 5 "Supporting innovation and investment activities to increase the competitiveness of the economy"; Priority 6 "Strengthening the institutional environment for higher efficiency of public services for citizens and businesses"; Priority 7 "Energy security and increasing resource efficiency"; Priority 8 "Improving transport connectivity and access to markets". Horizontal policy which is also part of this text aims at increasing the adequacy and sustainability of the pension system in order to improve the quality of life and ensure dignified aging; creating conditions for ensuring gender equality with the aim of their active inclusion and participation in all spheres of public life; ensuring equal opportunities for people with disabilities in order to promote their full social inclusion.
