Decree № 13 of 21 January 2011 on the adoption of the Rules of procedure of the Executive Agency for selection and reproduction in animal husbandry under the Minister of agriculture and food.

This Decree provides for rules related to activity, structure, organization of work and composition of the Executive Agency for selection and reproduction in animal husbandry under the Bulgarian Minister of agriculture and food. The Agency is a legal entity with registered office in Sofia. The Agency shall be a secondary spending unit with budget credits to the Minister of agriculture and food. The Agency shall be an executive body in the field of animal husbandry at the Minister of agriculture and food and shall assist it in the implementation of the state policy in the field of the breeding activity, the management and the conservation of the genetic resources. The Agency shall implement independently or jointly with other bodies or organizations projects and programmes in the field of animal husbandry, financed by programs of the European Union (EU) or by other international and national sources.
