Abstract
This Decree adopts the Regulation on the procedure for determining and imposing sanctions for environmental damage or pollution above the admissible standards, including the case of failure to comply with emission standards and restrictions officially laid down.
These penalty procedures and sanction measures shall be imposed by order of the Minister of Environment and Water, are designated and aimed for legal entities and sole traders present and operating on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian Minister of Environment and Water may authorize officials from the system of the Ministry of Environment and Waters to impose sanctions for established pollution or damage to the environment.
