Decree No. 189 of 29 July 2019, on amendments and supplements to the Regulation on the conditions and procedures for the functioning of the National System for Early Warning and Notification of the bodies of the executive power and the population in the event of disasters and for the disclosure of air hazards.

This Decree amends and adds several provisions to the Regulation on the conditions and procedures for the functioning of the National System for Early Warning and Notification of the bodies of the executive power and the population in the event of disasters and for the disclosure of air hazards (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Bulgaria 60/2014, as Decree No. 48 of 1 March 2012, on the adoption of the above mentioned Regulation).
Article 2 is amended as follows: the purpose of early warning and disclosure shall be to disseminate timely and relevant information enabling endangered persons, communities and organizations to prepare and act in an appropriate manner to minimize potential harm or loss; article 17 is amended as follows: the system of early warning and alerting the population is intended for simultaneous warning or alerting of endangered people in a certain territory for an impending or occurring disaster and for transmitting instructions for the necessary measures and actions through acoustic signals and voice information; articles 36 and 37 are completely re-edited.
