Decree No. 26 of February 1, 2021 on the adoption of an Ordinance on the specific requirements for carrying out food banking and the control over this activity.

This Decree adopts an Ordinance on the specific requirements for carrying out food banking and the control of this activity, which defines the: 1. the specific requirements for carrying out food banking; 2. exercising control over food banking. Section II of the Ordinance determines specific requirements for conducting food banking. Requirements for business operators are laid down in Section III. Requirements for food bank operators are prescribed in Section IV. Food banking of seized food is regulated in Section VI (The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency shall seize foods under the conditions laid down in article 18 of this text). Exercising control over food banking is defined in Section VII.
