Decree No 4 of 15 February 2012 on the conditions and procedure for the registration of forest nurseries as well as for the production of saplings in state-owned nurseries.

This Decree regulates the terms and procedures for the registration of forest nurseries (places or facilities where plants are propagated and grown to usable size); the requirements for creation and closure of state-owned forest nursery; the way of planning the production in the state-owned nurseries; requirements for the production of saplings in state-owned nurseries; the requirements for extracting, sorting, grading, marking, packing, transporting, storing and trading of saplings produced in such forest nurseries; the protection of state-owned forest nurseries from diseases, pests and other possible damages; the manner and procedure for carrying out the inventory in state-owned nurseries; the control of activities performed in forest nurseries on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Within 1 year after the entry into force of this Decree, all existing forest nurseries shall be re-registered as here indicated.
