Abstract
This Law regulates the name, the structure, the organization and the activity of the organization of veterinarians of the Republic of Bulgaria.
This text also sets the conditions for exercising the veterinary medical profession and defines responsibilities of veterinarians as regards the non-compliance with professional ethics and good veterinary practices.
All veterinarians, practicing their profession, shall be members of the Bulgarian Veterinary Union. Membership of veterinarians who do not exercise the profession is voluntary. Employees in the state administration, exercising control over veterinary practice, are not allowed to be members of the professional organization for the period of exercising of such civil service.
