This National program for the development of voluntary formations for the prevention or control of disasters, fires and other emergency situations in the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2022-2026, integrates the strategic goals and outlines the operational goals that specify them and through which they will be achieved. The operational goals are tied to clear and achievable deadlines, and the institutions responsible for their achievement are defined. The national program envisages a group of activities to achieve the set goals and direct involvement of the interested institutions as a guarantor of complexity, transparency and accountability in the conduct of these activities, for the confirmation of the voluntary formations as a sustainable component of the unified rescue system. Strategic objectives outlined in this text are as follows: 1: Confirmation, promotion and development of voluntary formations as a sustainable and reliable component of the unified rescue system; 2. Cooperation between the local government, employers and the national association of volunteers for the development of the voluntary formation activity; 3. Increasing the public significance and recognition of the dedication of voluntary formations in the Republic of Bulgaria; 4. Formation of interest in adolescents up to the age of 18, to the activities of the voluntary formation and the call to help in the event of fires, disasters and other emergency situations.
