Abstract
This Order adopts the Rules for healthy and safe working conditions in the forest territories, as provided in the Annex of this publication.
These rules set out the minimum requirements and obligations for ensuring healthy and safe working conditions when carrying out activities in forest areas. These activities include production of planting material, creation and cultivation of forest crops, conducting felling without material extraction, felling and export of timber, primary processing of timber and temporary warehousing, loading and transportation of timber, harvesting and collection of non-timber forest products, protection of forest areas from diseases, pests and other damages, protection of forest areas from fires, construction of forest roads, security of clearings and temporary warehouses, hunting activities, etc. These rules shall be binding on: 1. all workers and employees of the state enterprises (as under article 163 of the Law on Forests and their territorial divisions); 2. all workers and employees in the municipal forest structures; 3. all natural and legal persons and their associations, performing or assigning activities; 4. all employees of the Executive Forest Agency, its structures and the specialized territorial units; 5. all educational establishments and structures, carrying out training for acquisition of legal capacity and qualification, courses for raising the qualification or re-qualification in the field of the forestry and hunting economy; 6. all persons carrying out hunting.
