Ordinance N. 18 of 7 October 2015 on inventory and planning in forest areas.

This Ordinance, based on the provisions of the Bulgarian Law on forests, determines: 1. the conditions and the order for preparation, public discussion, acceptance and updating of: a) the inventory of the forest territories; b) the regional plans for development of forest territories; c) forestry plans and programmes; d) plans for hunting activities; e) the plans for the activities for protection of forest territories from fires; 2. the conditions and the order for categorization and re-categorization of forest territories; 3. the conditions and the procedure for conducting a public discussion for adoption and approval of the National Strategy for Development of the Forest Sector and the Strategic Plan for Development of the Forest Sector; 4. the content of the information system for forest territories and for activities in them, as well as the order for collecting the information, access to data, providing and using of deriving information.
