Ordinance on the terms and conditions for awarding the implementation of activities in forest areas-state and municipal property, and on the use of wood and non-timber forest products.

Based on the provisions of the Bulgarian Law on forests, this Ordinance determines the necessary legal and procedural conditions and sets the order for assigning the grant of implementation or effective performance of activities in forest territories (meant for both state and municipal property, also co-property forests and forest areas), and for the use of wood and non-wood forest products. The main principles and objectives of the Ordinance are: 1. publicity; 2. transparency; 3. free and fair competition; 4. equality; 5. non-discrimination; 6. promoting long-term investments for sustainable forest management and use of wood and non-wood forest products.
