Abstract
This Regulation amends certain provisions part of the Regulation No 25 of 14 December 2005 on minimum welfare requirements for laying hens (published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Bulgaria 42/2006).
Changes are related to the provisions on the identification of individual groups of animals kept within the same establishment; introduction of the rules and terms contained in the Council Directive 1999/74/EC of 19 July 1999 laying down minimum standards for the protection of laying hens; Commission Directive 2002/4/EC of 30 June 2002 on the registration of establishments keeping laying hens covered by Council Directive 1999/74/EC and Directive 2006/83/EC.
The Annex to the article 11 of the original text is also added (containing the list of the initials of the EU Member States in the veterinary registration numbers of establishments for laying hens registered in their territory).
