Regulation on the cases that require a permit for import, export and transit transportation of waste, and the conditions and procedures for permit issuance.

This Regulation sets out requirements and conditions in order to apply for permits for the import, export and transport of waste, and the cases when a bank guarantee is required. The Regulation consists of 5 Chapters divided into 22 articles, Additional and Concluding Provisions and 1 Annex.
This Regulation shall not apply to any of the wastes specified in article 3. Chapter 2 deals with conditions for the issuance of import, export and transit transportation of waste permits. The Minister of the Environment and Water shall be responsible for issuing the permits (Chapter 3). Chapter 4 regulates the issuance, registration and reporting of waste import, export and transit transportation permits. Chapter 5 deals with the establishment of bank guarantees. The implementation of this Regulation shall be assigned to the Minister of Environment and Water.
