Abstract
This Regulation defines the necessary terms and provisions, all according to animal welfare and animal protection rules, as regards the procedure for obtaining the mandatory authorization/license for zoos/zoological gardens, including the provisions regulating the monitoring over such places (keeping of live animal species).
As here specified, the protection of wild animals/other animal species outside their natural environment, covers the expertise, growth and multiplication of the same under controlled conditions according to the requirements of the Biodiversity Act.
