Regulation № 21 of 12 November 2012 on the terms and conditions for determining, approving, registering and canceling the sources from the forest seed production base, the collection and extraction of forest reproductive materials, their qualification, trade and import.

This Regulation prescribes the necessary conditions and order for: 1. the determination, approval, registration, forestry planning and management of the sources from the forest seed production base; 2. the production for the purpose of trade and trade in forest reproductive materials, intended entirely or partially for forestry purposes on the territory of the European Union, as included in the list in Annex 1 of this text; 3. the collection and extraction of reproductive materials, intended for silvicultural purposes; 4. the testing and qualification of sowing materials for silvicultural purposes, including those deriving from import; 5. the gratuitous provision of forest reproductive materials; 6. the import and export of forest reproductive material from and to third countries - members of the Scheme for certification of forest reproductive material intended for international trade, called briefly "the Scheme to the Organization for economic cooperation and development (OECD "; 7. The import of forest reproductive material from and to third countries, other than those under items 2 and 6, for which there is an EU decision.
