Regulation on quality requirements and conformity checks of fresh fruit and vegetables.

This Regulation hereby defines the necessary quality requirements and arrangements for carrying out checks and inspections over the effective conformity of fresh fruit and vegetables (in terms of sanitary-hygiene requirements, and food safety), and further defines the maintenance and related issues regarding management of the database of traders of fresh fruit and vegetables.
This Regulation is also in accordance with the European Union related standards and Directives, listed in the text (article 3).
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
