Three-year action plan for the implementation of the National Development Program: Bulgaria 2020 in the period 2015-2017.

The Bulgarian Three-year action plan for the implementation of the National Development Program: Bulgaria 2020 aimed for the planned period from the year 2015 until the year 2017 addresses specific issues regarding the actual economic and social situation and prospects for development; State and development of the national economy among economic development social dimensions and development prospects; progress in the implementation of designated goals and priorities of the framework planning document (NDP: Bulgaria 2020) for the period from the beginning of 2013 to the middle of 2014; report on the implementation of the measures laid down in the Action Plan for the implementation of the NDP: Bulgaria 2020 for the period 2014-2016; committed financial resources; mid-term impact assessment of the implementation of the NDP: Bulgaria 2020; operational strategy for the implementation of the NDP: Bulgaria 2020 for the period 2015-2017; preliminary assessment of the impact of the implementation of the measures set out in the Action Plan for the implementation of the NDP: Bulgaria 2020 in the period 2015-2017; the matrix with performance measures of NDP: Bulgaria 2020 in the period 2015-2017 is given in the Annex 1 of this text; Annex 2 provides the full list of indicators used for measuring the overall impact of the NDP: Bulgaria 2020.
This text sets particular goals and targeted financial implications in terms of education, scholarships (improving access to and increasing the quality of education and training and the qualitative characteristics of the workforce and ensuring accessible and quality education for personal development by modernization is one of key priorities in this sense); achieving sustainable integrated regional development and using local potential; development of the agricultural sector to ensure food security and to produce products with high added value under sustainable management of natural resources (includes priorities regarding the balanced sectoral and structural development of the agricultural sector); increase of general energy efficiency and sustainable use of all resources; creation of conditions for protection and improvement of the environment in the regions, adaptation to the coming climate changes and achievement of sustainable and efficient use of natural resources; improving and integrating the national planning and management system of regional development and the spatial planning system.
