Cooperation Agreement between Bahrain and Syria on tourism ratified by Decree No. 38 of 2000.

This Agreement is composed of 13 articles. Articles 1 to 10 deal with fields of the Agreement between both Countries in particular to: encourage the cooperation in the ecotourism; exchange experiences, education programmes, training and information for the development of tourism; encourage investment in the field of tourism in both Countries; exchange experiences and information for the development of handmade and traditional professions; organize tourism and cultural weeks in both Countries; participate in promotion, marketing, exhibitions and expositions related to tourism; exchange information and databases related to the tourism statistics; and, participate in international conferences, organizations related to the tourism. Article 11 decrees the establishment of the Joint Technical Committee for the implementation of this Agreement.
