Decree Law No.7 of 1982 establishing the Council for Water Resources.

This Decree consisting of 5 articles aims at establishing the Council for Water Resources in Bahrain under the leadership of the Prime Minister. The main duties of the Council are: drawing up the country's water policies; protecting and developing the country's water resources; regulating and coordinating water utilization between competing sectors; taking necessary measures to solve any problems that might arise during the implementation of water policies.
