Abstract
The aim of this Order is to protect the public health by managing hazardous waste in a correct, safe and secure way. The present Order is composed of 7 Chapters divided into 35 articles and 3 Schedules. Chapter 1 deals with terms and definitions. Chapter 2 defines the purposes and scope of the Order. Chapter 3 provides for producer's duties. Chapter 4 addresses waste carriers. Chapter 5 pertains to the Waste Treatment Unit. Chapter 6 provides for the import and export of waste. Chapter 7 contains general provisions. Schedule I defines the standards of emission arising from the incineration of hazardous waste with a capacity of less than 1 ton/h. Schedule II lists the standards of emission arising from the incineration of hazardous waste with a capacity of more than 1 ton/h. Schedule III contains the calculation of Equal Toxic Values of Dioxin and Phyorin.
