Abstract
This Resolution consisting of 5 articles aims at protecting the national marine resources by establishing a Committee at the General Authority for the Protection of Marine Resources, Environment and Wildlife. This Committee shall monitor and follow up the implementation of the Legislative Decree regulating the fishing, exploitation and protection of marine living resources. Main fields of action are: management systems; fisheries sector development; controls; solving problems between the fishermen; protection of the marine environment and proper utilization of fisheries; sand dredging operations; advice and guidance to fishermen support programs, management of harbors and related projects; and local workers protection.
The Committee decisions are in the form of recommendations and proposals to the President of the General Authority.
