Abstract
The purpose of this Resolution is to protect date palm trees from diseases. This Resolution is composed of 4 articles. Article 1 bans the importation or introduction of date palm trees, palm seedlings, date-palm panicles, palm fronds, palm leaves, date cluster stalks, coconuts, oil palms and ornamental palms from all countries listed in the table at the Ministry of Trade and Agriculture with the objective to protect agricultural wealth in Bahrain. Article 2 contains offences and penalties.
